Rare High-End Model SAMOCA 35 D.EZUMAR 50mm f2.8 in Good Working Condition This is the SAMOCA 35, a Japanese compact camera with the charm of a Showa retro aesthetic. This particular unit is a rare, higher-end model equipped with the D.EZUMAR 50mm f2.8 lens. [Lens Rarity and Image Quality] Most Samoca 35 cameras are equipped with f3.5 lenses, but this model achieves a brighter f2.8 aperture. The D.EZUMAR lens is a testament to the dedication of engineers at the time. At its widest aperture, you can enjoy the soft, dreamy bokeh characteristic of old lenses, while stopping down slightly produces surprisingly clear and sharp images. Its unique, atmospheric rendering offers a warmth unique to film that modern digital cameras cannot replicate. [Product Condition] ■ Exterior Considering its age, the exterior is in very beautiful condition. There is a small dent near the front winding lever and some minor scuffs, but overall it maintains a glossy and clean appearance. ■ Operation The shutter has been confirmed to fire at the corresponding shutter speeds. Please note that this model features a double-stroke winding mechanism (requires winding twice). ■ Optics The viewfinder contains minor dirt and dust, but appears clear when viewed through. The lens interior is also visually very clean. As this is an old lens, please expect minor dust particles that may be visible under certain lighting conditions. [Accessories] Camera body (integrated lens) As this is a precision instrument with significant historical value, please only purchase if you understand and accept that it is sold as-is.
