Please refrain from liking if you do not intend to purchase. Product Description This is a traditional Ainu necklace called Tamasai (Jewelry Festival). This is a rare item with a Sitoki (decorative plate), and it has a strong sense of the texture of old times. Tamasai are important accessories worn by Ainu women during rituals and festivals, and were considered treasures for women, just as swords were for men. They were often passed down through families, and are historical ornaments that have been passed from mother to daughter. This item is composed mainly of glass beads in various colors such as blue, yellow, black, and brown, with a tasteful design that also includes stone beads and wooden beads, as well as abacus beads. Furthermore, it is finished with a decorative plate called Sitoki in the center, giving it a strong presence. It is possible that old coins and prayer beads are strung between the glass beads, which is an attractive point that allows you to feel the trade culture of that time. The number and volume of the beads make it impressive, and it is a valuable item for collection, interior decoration, or as an ethnographic artifact. ■Condition As it is an old item, there are scuffs and dullness due to age, but you can enjoy it as the charm of an antique. ■Recommended Points ・Rare Tamasai with Sitoki ・Impressive design with various colored glass beads ・Perfect for collecting Ainu culture and ethnic crafts ・A piece that stands out as interior decoration or for display ♪ If you are interested, please consider it as soon as possible.
