The Dude by Bastl Instruments is a 5-channel portable audio mixer that runs on batteries (or a power supply). It features mini-jack inputs and outputs, with each channel having a mute button and a +20dB gain control. While the DUDE is a monophonic mixer, it can drive headphones, making it an excellent compact solution for portable setups on stage or for quickly submixing a few gadget instruments or synthesizers. The DUDE can be powered by 4 AA batteries or an external AC adapter (sold separately) and is designed to be as small as a battery pack. Each channel has enough gain to be used as a tone generator by feeding the signal back through passive equalizers or other simple circuits. ■ Features ・5-channel monophonic mixer ・Gain knob with up to +20dB (10x) per channel ・Dedicated mute button switch per channel (mechanical switch) ・Dual mono output for driving headphones ・Powered by 4 AA batteries (sold separately) or external AC adapter (sold separately) 9-12VDC (center positive polarity) This product does not originally come with a battery cover.
