A revolution in rod rests! One-touch rod rest! Compatible with both surf rods and lure rods. Compatible with 12.5mm inner diameter pitons. Simply place your rod on the rest and it will automatically hold it. To remove your rod, just lift it off. You can immediately set the hook when you get a bite. I was very interested in Kishu fishing, and while doing so, I discovered the Rakugan Light. It's no longer sold, but I thought it was a great product. That's when I found this one-touch rod rest. It's a rod rest that's very easy to use, similar to the Rakugan Light. Truly one-touch! I've used Daiichi Seiko products too, but once you use this, you can't go back. Not only for Kishu fishing, but also recommended for sabiki fishing on breakwaters, float fishing on rocky shores, yaen, and basket fishing. While I've never had a rod fall off when using it, if you're concerned, I recommend attaching a safety line! As this is an imported product, there may be minor scratches.
