This is a handmade pickup for an upright bass, made using a used EMG. This is the last one. For attaching to the upright bass, I used zip ties (cable ties) to avoid damaging the fingerboard with screws or clamps. Screws can cause the fingerboard to crack, as seen in images 4 and 5 (like on my upright bass), and clamps can cause the pickup to slip during performance. The microphone also picks up the click sound of slap playing well. EMG = Active, of course. 1 Vol, 1 Tone (9V battery) Microphone = Passive. 1 Vol, 1 Tone The dice for the knobs can be made from your choice of solid colors (red, blue, yellow, green, white, pink, purple, orange, brown, black) or clear colors (red, blue, yellow, green), as shown in image 3. *Mixing colors is not possible. A hole will be drilled into the 1 face. This is a personal project that I'm sharing, so if you're looking for a perfect product, I recommend purchasing a professionally made one. Images 4 and 5 show examples of installation. Immediate purchase is welcome. I will do my best to ship on the same day. #Rockabilly #BlueAngel #MAGIC #wface #Takashi Umezawa #Kenichi Yamaguchi #RODEO #Koji Kume #THEBISCATS #Misaki Aono #Upright Bass #6120 #Fifties #Rock and Roll #Regent #Bluevelvets #Golden Robby #Cream Soda Click here for the manufacturer's site
