This charming piece of 1970s-1980s Americana folk art features a hand-constructed wooden curio cabinet with a hinged glass protective front door. Inside, the maker meticulously lined four distinct compartments with iconic era craft backings. The box is a treasure trove of securely attached, nostalgic mid-century miniatures and authentic sewing notions, making it an incredibly detailed piece of miniature room box art. • A vintage kitschy porcelain girl figurine holding a letter by a tiny mailbox (Hummel/Lefton era style). • Authentic vintage sewing notions: vintage lily mills dual wooden thread spools, metal bobbin, thimble, safety pins, and a sewing needle. • A rare, collectible wooden souvenir token reading Minted in Maine along the bottom. • Darling dollhouse miniatures: a wooden barrel, a mini toy jack, a wooden thread pot with tiny scissors, a vintage thimble with flowers, vintage, sewing items, , a hand, tied ribbon bow, and a tiny glass vial filled with real dried flowers. Great vintage condition with a tight, functioning hinged door. Wood shows lovely natural grain and age-appropriate warmth and wear. All components are permanently glued in place by the original maker- tiny barrel & wooden coin are loose. (Front lace design is missing one button. Please review all photos for exact details &
