Defective Item: Retro National Wall-Mounted Fan F-30UWQ with Remote Control Please purchase this item for display purposes only, as older fans may pose a fire hazard. National 30cm Wall Fan F-30UWQ This is a National (now Panasonic) wall-mounted fan, model F-30UWQ. Includes the fan and remote control. As-is condition: The fan does operate, but it does not start simply by turning on the switch. It requires the switch to be turned on and then the fan speed adjustment button to be pressed to start. The oscillation function does not work even when pulling the cord. The remote control is not functional, so the timer function cannot be used. Scratches, dirt, and rust are present. The power cord is heavily soiled, although it may appear relatively clean in the photos. The battery cover of the remote control comes off easily and appears to have been secured with a rubber band or tape, leaving adhesive marks. The metal contacts inside the remote control have come loose. Please only purchase if you understand and accept these conditions. Functions and Operation: Power (Off/On): Slide the switch to On to start operation, and to Off to stop. 4-Hour Timer: Pressing the button cycles through 30 min -> 1 hour -> 2 hours -> 4 hours. The power will automatically turn off after the set time. Fan Speed: Pressing the button cycles through 1 (Low) -> 2 (Medium) -> 3 (High) fan speeds. Oscillation: Pulling the cord starts and stops the left and right oscillation. Features a fan speed adjustment button with 3 levels and the ability to turn off the power. Comes with a remote control for operation from a distance from the wall-mounted fan. While inspected, there may be overlooked storage dirt, storage scratches, or initial defects. Colors may differ from the images. Due to home storage, dust, debris, and fingerprints may be present. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to these issues. As this is a personal inspection, we apologize for any oversights. The item will be shipped in a plastic bag, wrapped in cushioning material, via RakuRaku Mercari便 (Takkyubin) which offers compensation for loss or damage during transit. You can purchase without commenting. According to Mercari rules, even if others are commenting, the item will be sold to the first person who completes the purchase.
