Product Description Standing meditation is the representative training method of Taiki Ken. It involves cultivating internal energy and unifying the nerves and body while simultaneously training and resting. Without standing meditation practice, Taiki Ken cannot be mastered, and it is no exaggeration to say that standing meditation is everything in Taiki Ken training. This work, by Michio Shimada, a master of the Taiki Ken Kiko Kai, carefully explains everything from the principles of standing meditation to its forms, methods, and application in kumite, along with his own demonstrations. It is a groundbreaking guide for mastering martial arts and for not losing your way, and an optimal work for understanding the essence of standing meditation. Shaking Kumite Starring Michio Shimada Studied Judo and Karate from a young age, later becoming a disciple of the martial arts master Kenichi Sawai. He underwent intense training in the legendary Jingu no Mori. In 1985, upon the instruction of Kenichi Sawai, he established the Taiki Ken Kiko Kai dojo in Koganei, Tokyo, to teach Taiki Ken to the general public. After the passing of his master, he temporarily closed the dojo but later reopened it and resumed instruction. In January 2005, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Koganei dojo's establishment, he opened a new dojo in Shinjuku, Tokyo. He is dedicated to the popularization of Taiki Ken, left by Kenichi Sawai, and the instruction of future generations. #MichioShimada #CD・DVD #Yiquan #TaikiKen #ChineseMartialArts #MichioShimada #CD・DVD #KungFu #HealthyLiving #MartialArts #Class Click here for the manufacturer's site
