Vintage Hand Quilted Pinwheel Star Quilt 78x90 Handmade Feedsack c.1940s. Condition is Pre-owned. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage. This quilt appears to be hand pieced and hand quilted, showcasing traditional American craftsmanship with extensive hand stitching throughout. The cheerful pink sashing, cream background, and colorful pinwheel star blocks create a wonderful Depression-era aesthetic that remains highly desirable among quilt collectors and farmhouse decorators. Based on the fabrics, construction, and quilting techniques, the quilt is estimated to date to approximately the late 1930s through the 1940s. The reverse features a solid pink cotton backing with original hand quilting visible throughout. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS 78 x 90 FEATURES Handmade Hand quilted Cotton fabrics Pinwheel Star pattern Feedsack and vintage floral prints Pink sashing and backing Full/Double bed size American folk art textile CONDITION Good vintage condition with honest age-related wear. The quilt displays beautifully overall but does show signs of decades of use. There is one larger worn area exposing the original cotton batting, a few seam separations along the border, scattered light staining and age discoloration, and minor edge wear. These condition issues have been photographed and are reflected in the price. Please review all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the item description.
