Discover this charming vintage powder compact, dating from the 1930s to 1940s. This collectible piece features a beautiful floral design on the lid, reminiscent of a petit point or needlepoint tapestry, showcasing vibrant roses and delicate foliage against a cream background with a subtle grid pattern. The compact is crafted from gold-tone metal, with a striking sunburst etched pattern on the back. Opening the compact reveals a clear mirror on the inside of the lid and a compartment that still contains some vintage powder and its original puff. Measuring approximately 2 inches by 2 inches, it's a perfect size for display or to add to a vintage vanity collection. Condition: This item is in vintage condition, showing signs of its age and history. There are minor scratches and wear consistent with use on the gold-tone finish, particularly on the back. The mirror remains clear. The powder and puff are original to the compact and show wear from age. Please examine all photos carefully for a complete understanding of its condition.
