【Made in France, Wooden】LEBLANC Oboe | Ring Key System | Includes Armstrong Case This is a wooden oboe from LEBLANC, a long-established French woodwind instrument manufacturer. This model features a ring key system. It is a model suited for those who prioritize expressiveness and playability. ■ Features of the Ring Key System The ring key system is designed so that when you cover the tone holes with your fingers, the rings move in conjunction with the keys. • Finger positions are easy to understand, making fingering more stable. • Tends to have a good attack and quick response. • Phrases connect easily, allowing for a wider range of expression. • Easy to handle for beginners to intermediate players, suitable for both concert bands and orchestras. This structure allows you to easily utilize the soft and deep tone characteristic of a wooden body. ■ Materials • Body: Wooden (Grenadilla) • Keys: Nickel silver, silver-plated • Joints: Cork ■ Condition • No sticking observed. • The connection between the center joint and the lower joint is slightly loose. • No cracks or splits in the wood. • Minor dents from age and use. • Plating peeling on keys (does not significantly affect operation or playability). *Please check the images for details as this is an old, used item. ■ Weight • Oboe body: Approx. 592g ■ Accessories • Armstrong hard case • Shows signs of use and scuffs (no issues with storage or transport). • *Reeds are not included. ■ Recommended for • Those looking for a vintage wooden oboe from Leblanc. • Those who want to emphasize expressiveness with a ring key system. • Those who want to obtain a cost-effective instrument with the understanding that it may require adjustment/maintenance. • Also recommended as a secondary instrument or for practice. ■ Notes • Sold as-is. • Adjustments are recommended depending on your playing environment and preferences. • Please purchase only if you understand that this is a used/vintage item.
