Stunning piece of history! Recently found at an estate sale, this is an authentic handmade quilt from the 1930s-40s featuring the classic Churn Dash pattern. It is crafted with a beautiful variety of vintage cotton scrap prints, many of which appear to be original feedsack fabrics. IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE: This is being sold as a cutter quilt. Because of its age, it is in as-found, unwashed condition. It shows significant signs of wear, including thinning fabric, fraying, some tears, and vintage staining consistent with its long history. It has not been laundered and may have a vintage/storage scent. This quilt is not suitable for use on a bed but is a dream for crafters, textile artists, and makers looking for authentic vintage fabric for upcycling, repurposing, or art projects. Please review all photos carefully to see the areas of wear and determine the amount of salvageable material.
