This is a used Leica Certified M9 Black Paint. This M9 is a Leica Certified Pre-Owned item purchased from a Leica store in the USA, so it is in very good condition. It comes with a warranty valid for use in Japan. You can select Japanese on the LCD screen, and the battery can be charged without any problems in Japan. *Leica Certified Pre-Owned items undergo inspection and maintenance covering over 50 items, and are pre-owned cameras guaranteed by Leica for the highest quality. (A one-year warranty is available in Japan and is valid until May 12, 2026.) This M9 has been replaced with the CCD ID15 countermeasure version, which is proof of replacement by Leica. [Exterior] The shutter count is low, so there is no feeling of use and it is in very clean condition. There are minor scratches and light scuffs associated with normal use, but no dents or damage. Regarding paint peeling on the top cover, there are small areas (approximately 0.2mm) where the underlying brass is visible on the top right corner of the front viewfinder and the corner next to the shutter dial, but these are not noticeable at all. The base plate also has minimal paint peeling. The viewfinder is clear, with no fogging or mold. The sensor is clean and without issues. A protective film is applied to the base plate. The shutter count is 5,506, which is very low. (The NumExposures in the product photo indicates the shutter count.) Photos actually taken with this camera are included in the listing images. [Operation] Test shots have been taken with a lens attached, and the camera is in working order. [Included Items] - Camera body - Genuine charger #14470 - Genuine battery x 1 #14464 - Body cap - Cords (including a Japanese power cord) - Test certificate issued on April 4, 2024 - Warranty (copy of purchase receipt, valid until May 12, 2025) - Instruction manual (A Japanese instruction manual is not included, but it can be downloaded from the Leica website.) Stored in a pet-free, smoke-free room. Please feel free to ask any questions about the product's condition in the comments section.
