Antique Art Nouveau jewelry casket by WB Mfg Co, model 393. Gilded spelter box c.1900–1910, ornate floral design, vanity keepsake. This antique jewelry casket was crafted by WB Mfg Co (Weidlich Brothers) around 1900–1910 and is stamped with model number 393 on the underside. A fine example of Art Nouveau design, it features elegant floral scrollwork, a domed lid, and four decorative feet. The ornate gilded finish highlights the sculptural details, making it as much a display piece as it is functional. Condition • Exterior: Gold finish is bright and decorative. It may be an older repaint or touch-up over the original gilding, a common practice with spelter boxes of this age. • Interior: Shows authentic patina with iridescent rainbow-like tones, consistent with antique spelter. • Structure: Hinge intact; lid opens and closes smoothly. • Wear: Minor age-appropriate surface wear; no structural cracks.
