Bonpoint Kyo-Uchiwa (Kyoto Fan) Purchased several years ago at the Bonpoint Daikanyama store. It has been stored in the original bag since then. Quoted from the official website: This Kyo-Uchiwa fan is a special order from Kōchōsai Kosuga, a Kyoto-based company known for its bamboo craftsmanship since its founding in 1898. The surface is made of Japanese paper. Its gentle colors make it suitable for any outfit or occasion, and its compact size makes it easy to carry. It can be used by both children and adults. ~What is Kyo-Uchiwa~ Kyo-Uchiwa, also known as Miyako Uchiwa, is a traditional craft of Kyoto. Its main characteristic is the sashi-e (inserted handle) structure, where the fan surface and handle are made separately, and thin ribs are arranged radially one by one, with the handle attached later. Please only purchase if you understand that this is a personal, home-stored item. Click here for the manufacturer's site
