ANTIQUE BRASS AIR PRESSURE GAUGE – CENTRAL AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER CO – 0–250 PSI Condition: Beautiful original patina on solid brass case. Glass is intact with no cracks. Dial shows age and minor discoloration appropriate for a 90–100 year old gauge. Red AIR marking is clear. Back plate and threads show natural oxidation. No structural damage. ---------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION: Rare early 20th-century Central Automatic Sprinkler Co. (Philadelphia) brass fire-protection gauge. Unlike common WATER gauges, this AIR model was used on dry-pipe sprinkler systems to monitor compressed air pressure. Manufactured by U.S. Gauge Co., New York, with the classic knurled brass bezel, 0–250 PSI scale, FM approval marks, and solid brass construction.
