An exceptional, matching set of three (3) authentic turn-of-the-century Victorian/Edwardian lace pins (also historically worn as bodice scatter brooches). Each round plaque features exquisite hand-painted miniature detailing showcasing white five-petal forget-me-not blossoms resting on a vibrant cornflower blue ground. The hand-painted ceramic inserts are safely nestled in scalloped brass bezel frames, secured by structural claw prongs. Historically worn together clustered closely on high-neck lace collars or scattered across a bodice, this set has survived together beautifully and offers a rare opportunity for lovers of sentimental Victorian jewelry. * Material: Hand-painted fired porcelain medallions, gold gilt accents, brass frames * Size: approximately 1 inch each * Weight: 12 grams * Era: c 1890-1910 (Late Victorian to Edwardian) * Motif: Forget-Me-Nots (The universal Victorian botanical symbol for eternal love and remembrance) Excellent Antique Condition. The porcelain faces are crisp, vibrant, and entirely free from surface chips, fleabites, or hairline cracks. The gold gilt borders retain strong color depth. The original brass mountings are stable with zero loose prongs. The pin stems show gentle, age-appropriate waviness from historical use on heavy antique textiles but remain robust, fully functional, and seat tightly into their respective C clasps.
