This is a flame-retardant disaster prevention hood, which is often required for kindergartens and elementary schools. It was used for evacuation drills at school, but since my daughter is graduating this spring and will no longer need it, I am listing it for anyone who needs it. (My daughter used it.) I had stamped her name lightly, but after erasing it with an eraser, only a faint trace remains. The name field is hidden in the photos, but the name is so faint that if the buyer writes their name over it with an oil-based pen, the original name will not be visible. No address or other information was written. As this is a used item, there may be some signs of use, but I do not see any particularly noticeable scratches or stains. This is not a new item, as it was used a few times for drills, so please only consider it if you don't mind a used item. This is a sturdy disaster prevention hood from the (Public Interest Incorporated Foundation) Japan Disaster Prevention Association, purchased in bulk by the school. It is not a cheap product sold at home centers, so I remember it being quite expensive when purchased. Disaster prevention hoods are not used frequently, but they are a required item and new ones are expensive, so I highly recommend it for those who are okay with a used item. It has ear holes so you can still hear outside sounds clearly when wearing it. It has an inner pocket, so you can store a mask or handkerchief for peace of mind. There are many things to prepare for kindergarten and elementary school enrollment, but I recommend this for those who only need the function of a disaster prevention hood and don't mind if it's not new. Please note that the item will be packed compactly to fit the shipping size. It was kept in a cover, but since covers are a matter of personal preference, please use one you already have or one that your child likes.
