Thank you for viewing. This is a very rare Yakusugi sake set (2 tokkuri flasks, 5 ochoko cups) nurtured by the rich nature of Yakushima, a World Heritage site, over thousands of years. As new logging is now completely prohibited, this is a highly valuable craft that is difficult to obtain today, made only from precious wood secured in the past. The dense and beautiful growth rings stand out in three dimensions, and you can feel the warmth of the smooth wood grain just by holding it. The word Yakusugi is engraved on the side of the ochoko cups. [Product Contents and Size] (Please note that these are amateur measurements, so slight errors may occur.) ?Tokkuri flasks: 2 (Height approx. 17.0 cm) ?Ochoko cups: 5 (Height approx. 6.0 cm) [Product Condition] ?Used only a few times. ?After use, they were hand-washed, thoroughly dried in a well-ventilated area, and carefully stored. ?There are no noticeable scratches, stains, or cracks, and in my subjective opinion, they are in very clean condition. ?The original box is not included. For shipping, each item will be carefully wrapped with cushioning material (bubble wrap) to prevent breakage or scratches, and will be delivered in a cardboard box. [Notes] ?As this is a handmade item made from natural wood, the grain and color will vary from piece to piece. ?They are sensitive to sudden drying and heat, so please refrain from using them in microwave ovens, dishwashers, or with boiling water. How about this for someone who appreciates the value of Yakusugi, or for your own luxurious evening drink? Immediate purchase is welcome. Thank you for your consideration.
