Plums - 4.8kg - Completely Pesticide-Free - Why not make plum enzyme or plum juice? These plums are grown on the side of the Arakawa River headwaters in Saitama Prefecture, using only completely pesticide-free organic fertilizer. Because they are cultivated without any pesticides or chemical fertilizers, they are a bit small, but they are very cute and beautiful! We think they are perfect for plum syrup, plum enzyme, and plum juice. To prevent spoilage, they will be shipped unwashed. Due to some minor blemishes and smaller sizes, we will ship 5kg including the box. ☆☆ As these are pesticide-free, there may be some minor scratches, freckles, or insect damage. ☆☆ They are suitable for making plum enzyme, plum juice, plum syrup, plum jam, or for ripening and making small pickled plums. ☆☆ The sizes are a bit small and vary, but there are also some that are relatively larger. ☆☆ As these are fresh produce, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about bruising, spoilage, or deterioration during shipping. [Benefits of Plums] ★ Plums are rich in minerals essential for the body. ★ The mineral content of plums is higher than that of tangerines, apples, and grapes. Although plums are smaller than apples, they contain 4 times more calcium and 6 times more iron. Plums also contain more magnesium and zinc. ★ Organic acids such as citric acid and malic acid, which are the sour components of plums, promote and activate carbohydrate metabolism. This smooths the conversion of nutrients into energy. ★ In other words, plums are not only effective for relieving fatigue but also for alleviating back pain and stiff shoulders, preventing aging, and building a body that is less prone to fatigue. ☆ The last one or two photos show enzyme made with brown sugar and plums. 1kg of plums (fruit) : 1.1kg of sugar Precautions for making enzyme: Layer the fruit and sugar alternately. Once the sugar has dissolved, take measures to allow gas to escape (either by not fully closing the gas release lid of the storage jar and lightly closing the outer lid, or by covering it with a plastic bag). Then, shake the jar daily (firmly close the outer lid before shaking). Store with the lid closed after about 1 month, observing the strength of the gas release. Open and drink after 6 months, but it's even more delicious after 1 year, so please try making a slightly larger batch. ◆ The above are personal comments and are for reference only.
