For Ayano-sama only - Thank you for viewing - Ie Island's Shima Rakkyo (island shallots) from Okinawa are characterized by their long white parts and slender shape compared to mainland shallots. Their crisp texture, rich flavor, and subtle spiciness are addictive. We deliver freshly picked island shallots that are safe and secure, cultivated using our unique soil-making method that utilizes organic matter. [Shipping Method] - Direct from the farmer! Free shipping! - We will harvest and ship after receiving your order. - 60-size box (shipped in a new box) - Will be shipped as loose shallots. \ Points / ★ Ie Island is the only key production area in the prefecture. ★ Soft blanching cultivation ensures a crisp texture even in the stems!! ★ Since they come with soil, wrapping them in newspaper and refrigerating them upon arrival will help them last longer. ★ As we are farmers, we can discuss quantities! Please contact us anytime. Recommended ways to eat - Thin ones are great for salt pickling or marinating!! - Slightly thicker ones are delicious tempura!! - Chop and stir-fry for a shallot-flavored dish! - Wrapping them with pork and serving with plum sauce or teriyaki sauce is also excellent. - Notes - - Please read our profile details before purchasing. - To maintain freshness, they will be shipped with some soil attached. - If you do not plan to eat them immediately upon arrival, wrap them in newspaper and store them in the refrigerator (can be stored for 1-2 weeks). * If salt-pickled, they can be stored for an additional 2 weeks. - Shipping may be delayed if it rains, as we cannot work in the fields. - As we ship from an island, delivery may be delayed due to bad weather preventing ships from sailing.
