This is a thermometer and thermocouple compatible with Artisan coffee roasters. The thermocouple can be used with accessories other than K-type. As a bonus feature, wireless connectivity has been added. The use of MAX31855K for the thermocouple converter has improved temperature measurement stability and accuracy compared to previous versions. Supports 2-channel thermocouple input. The thermometer can be connected to a PC for data logging with Artisan. It can also operate as a standalone thermometer by connecting a mobile charger. While not designed for extremely high precision, the temperature measurement accuracy is sufficient for coffee roasting purposes. Artisan Installation: Requires basic knowledge of USB serial COM port settings and confirmation, as it involves USB driver (CP2102) configuration. For wireless connection, understanding Wi-Fi router settings (SSID, password) and IP addresses is necessary. Confirmed to work with Windows 10, 11, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, and Raspberry Pi OS (Bookworm). An instruction manual (Windows version only) is included. All items are new, but the thermometer is handmade. Items for Sale: Thermometer (case is 3D printed PLA) - Temperature measurement range: -50 to 300℃, uses MAX31855K - Thermometer connection: USB serial MODBUS RTU, USB micro-B - Wi-Fi connection: MODBUS TCP, 2.4GHz band only (5GHz not supported) - IP address is not fixed. K-type Thermocouple: 100mm, 5mm diameter with stainless steel sleeve, M8 thread - Approximately 180cm cable length, 2 included USB Cable: micro-B Instruction Manual The surface of the thermometer case may have a rough texture due to the 3D printing process. Note: Not compatible with IH stoves as they interfere with temperature measurement. Regarding wireless connection, while procedures are detailed in the manual, it may not work depending on your environment. We will provide as much support as possible, but there is a possibility that this feature may not be usable. When using wireless connection, a cable connection to the PC is not required, but the thermometer still needs a power supply (e.g., mobile battery). Images 1-5 show the actual items for sale. Other images are reference images from previous listings. The case is made of black PLA. Price negotiation is not accepted. Click here for the manufacturer's site
