■ A well-loved Classic Flight, my travel companion from previous trips. This is a RIMOWA Classic Flight (976.70) purchased in 2012. It's a model from before LVMH acquired the brand, and it's packed with details no longer found in the current lineup, making it a must-have for RIMOWA enthusiasts. As it's seen less use recently, I'm listing it for someone who appreciates its character and will continue to use it extensively. ■ Features Unique to This Model • Blue Logo and Airplane Motif The interior features a monogram fabric with an airplane motif, which is not found in current models. The design, with retro propeller planes on a calm beige background, enhances the travel mood every time you open it. The brand tag also features the blue logo, a mark of older models. • The Endangered 2-Wheel Model This is a 2-wheel model that is no longer available. Unlike 4-wheel models, it offers stability, preventing it from rolling away unintentionally on trains, and its rugged appearance is incredibly cool. • A Reliable 78L Size This size allows for ample packing for overseas trips of about a week. With a total linear dimension of approximately 154cm, it fits within the free checked baggage allowance for major airlines. ■ Product Condition (Please Read Carefully) Used for overseas travel to various countries for over 10 years. • Exterior: There are dents, scuffs, and scratches throughout, typical of aluminum RIMOWA cases. Stickers from various airports have also been left on intentionally as travel mementos. • Interior: I believe it's been kept in good condition considering its age. • Functionality: All casters, handles, and locks (no TSA lock) have been checked and are in perfect working order for practical use. ■ Detailed Specifications • Model Number: 976.70 • Size: Approx. 78cm x 52cm x 24cm • Capacity: Approx. 78L • Manufacturing: Made in Germany • Accessories: Case only (the combination lock will be set to 000 for shipping) ■ Finally This item is not suitable for those seeking pristine, like-new condition. However, for those who feel that the charm of RIMOWA lies in the texture of well-used aluminum, this is a product with considerable character. As this is a high-value transaction, please feel free to ask any questions you may have in the comments section. #RIMOWA #リモワ #ClassicFlight #Aluminum #VintageRimowa #2Wheel Click here for the manufacturer's site
