Moss Terrarium Soil [Moss Soil] Premium ■ Contents: Approx. 200g [Clean, Well-draining, Slightly Acidic, Nutrient-poor] [Ingredients of Moss Terrarium Original Soil Premium] Hard Akadamatsuchi (Two-line) Fine Granule Perlite Fuji Sand Charcoal * Specific blending ratios are a company secret. * Can be expected to neutralize acidity and compensate for weaknesses. * Akadamatsuchi and Fuji Sand have been sieved to remove fine dust. * Although the price is higher, using hard soil prevents it from breaking down over time, maintaining a good environment. ?Hard Akadamatsuchi (Two-line) This is the highest grade Akadamatsuchi, which is hard and resistant to crumbling, and is blended as a base soil. It crumbles less easily than other hard Akadamatsuchi or baked Akadamatsuchi. It is a slightly acidic soil with very little nutrients and a good granular structure that allows for good aeration, making it ideal for moss. ?Perlite When mixed throughout, it provides uniform water retention. ?Fuji Sand This is finely ground volcanic rock. Its porous nature makes it easy for moss's rhizoids to attach. ?Charcoal It adjusts the pH to prevent the soil from becoming too acidic and also adsorbs and purifies waste products from the moss. Nutrient-poor soil Moss does not require a lot of nutrients. 2. Clean soil Since it will be grown in a closed glass container, use the cleanest soil possible. Undecayed organic matter such as dead leaves can cause mold to grow. 3. Granular soil Granular soil allows air and water to penetrate more easily than clay-based soil. 4. Slightly acidic soil Strictly speaking, the preferred soil pH varies by moss species, but most mosses used in moss terrariums prefer slightly acidic soil. #MossTerrarium #Kokedama #Terrarium #Mossarium #Moss #MossTerrariumSoil #KokedamaSoil #TerrariumSoil #MossariumSoil #MossSoil #Vivarium #Aquarium #Handmade #Interior #DecorativeSand #Gravel #Soil Plant Type: Moss Click here for the manufacturer's site
