Before finishing your work, switch to strong airflow mode, turn the temperature adjustment dial all the way to the left, and wait 5 minutes to cool the heat gun. Then, store the heat gun after it has completely cooled down. *Instead of natural cooling at high temperatures, cool it down to a low temperature first.
