This is a light trap using a car HID system. It is extremely effective for insect collecting. Based on feedback from field testers and users, it has a proven track record with numerous captures of species such as the Stag Beetle (Ookuwagata), Miyama Stag Beetle (Miyamakuwagata), and more. The ballast and burner are newly manufactured and modified. We will send it after a lighting test of approximately 5 minutes. The number we can produce this season is limited. Please purchase early before the peak season. The HID burner has had its quartz glass protective tube removed to emit ultraviolet light. The power supply is a cigarette lighter socket specification, and the cable is set to 10m for use in vehicles. It can be used with 12V vehicles or with the cigarette lighter socket output of a portable battery. This listing is for the ballast + light unit only. An L-shaped bracket has been attached so you can use it with your preferred tripod, etc. Please note that a tripod is not included. This is the original creator, and it is made with proper electrical knowledge. It has been used by staff at a certain museum, as well as by knowledgeable individuals and researchers from universities, and has been developed based on their feedback. Therefore, we cannot accept repairs or consultations for similar products purchased from other sellers. We also cannot supply parts to anyone other than those who have purchased from us. We hope for your continued patronage. When inquiring, please provide the product ID of your purchase. We are doing this as a hobby with no regard for profit, so we will decline excessive price negotiations. Furthermore, a portion of the profits is used for the development of young enthusiasts and their equipment, so we will only conduct transactions with those who understand this. When you add up the shipping costs, Mercari fees, material costs, and processing costs, there is almost no profit, but it is encouraging to have users from the same hobby and receive feedback. The ballast and wiring materials may differ from the photos, but please understand that the standard performance is the same. Burner: HB4 Click here for the manufacturer's site
