A draw-leaf (extendable) table made from old wood, found in the English countryside. Circa 1930s. Oak. Draw-leaf tables are particularly popular among antique tables. There are various types of draw-leaf tables, but this is a convenient medium-sized piece, perfect for use as a dining table for 4 to 6 people. A draw-leaf table is a highly convenient table that can be extended as needed. It can be stored away and used compactly when not in use, making it excellent for storage and very convenient regardless of placement. The BULBOUS legs are also lovely. Bulbous legs are a traditional British decorative element characterized by a bulbous, swollen shape. Their formal name is cup and cover leg, and it is a historically significant design that originated around the Tudor period, from the 12th to 15th centuries. They are also sometimes called pineapple legs or melon bulbs. The aged patina and rustic texture, characteristic of antique pieces, exude a nostalgic atmosphere, adding a pleasant warmth and comfort to your space. It is perfect for use as shop display furniture, but you can also enjoy creating scenes reminiscent of European films or interior design magazines by combining it with antique furniture in your everyday space. Combining it with modern furniture would also be interesting. There are stains, scratches, rust, cracks, peeling, and marks due to age-related deterioration. Please purchase with an understanding of these points. ○Size○ (Stored) H: Approx. 75.5cm x W: Approx. 99cm x D: Approx. 76cm (Extended) W: Approx. 159.5cm *Please note that there may be slight errors.
