Thank you for viewing! Reason for being sold as-is: Wood decks typically require maintenance such as repainting every 3-5 years. However, as this product has been stored for a long time, it is prone to fading, peeling paint, and silvering. Please understand that repainting may be necessary in less than six months depending on the installation environment before purchasing. *Note: In harsh installation environments, this may occur even sooner. Paint required for repainting approximately 10 tatami mats (approx. 16.5 sq meters) of area is generally sold for around 5,000 yen. Sales are by the box (10 pieces per box). Each box weighs approximately 17 kg, so multiple boxes cannot be shipped together. If you wish to purchase multiple boxes, please inquire via the comment section. Since Mercari shipping does not allow for multiple packages, we will create a dedicated listing for the number of boxes you desire. (A small discount will be offered for purchases of 10 boxes or more.) We will open the package and check the condition of the product before shipping. The shipping label will be affixed directly to the original box. 305 x 305 x 32 cm, approx. 1.6 kg/piece *Excerpt from catalog Due to it being natural wood, actual weight may vary. This is a product sold as-is due to long-term storage in an unopened state. Please only purchase if you understand this. There may be some minor storage scuffs. The original box has dirt, scratches, dents, etc. Image 1 shows an example of actual installation. Image 2 shows four pieces combined. The images are reused, so the actual color may differ slightly. 18 pieces are used to cover the area of one tatami mat. Each box contains 10 pieces. Only the flat type shown in Image 5 is available. (Individual pieces are not sold separately.) Ipe wood is a hardwood native to South America and boasts the highest adoption rate and track record in public projects in Japan. It also consistently ranks high on wood deck popularity ranking sites. Ipe wood has a very beautiful grain, and there is considerable variation in color, so please enjoy its unique character. *Please check our profile before purchasing.
