The Amazon product page states: Peltier semiconductor cooling technology - cools up to -17°C. I was issued this by my company because the air conditioning fan is noisy during commutes and business trips. However, I commute by car and have been transferred to an office-based role, so I am selling it unused, having never used it once. My colleagues who work outdoors during the day say that with this, they stay cool even when wearing a suit and their sweat dries up. This is the latest model currently being sold by the manufacturer on Amazon. Here is the description from Amazon: ↓ Adopts cutting-edge semiconductor cooling technology for comfortable, quiet cooling. Neck Cooler Cooling Plate [2026 New Model & Neck Cooler & 30000mAh Battery Included] Neck Fan Peltier Element 3 Cooling Plates Strong/Weak Modes Type-C Powered Portable Fan Quiet & Lightweight Foldable Size Adjustable [Peltier Semiconductor Cooling Technology - Cools up to -17°C] The neck cooler combines a high-performance semiconductor cooling plate with a special Peltier element direct cooling material for powerful, instant cooling. It can lower your perceived temperature by 17°C in just 1 second. Turn on the semiconductor cooling, and you'll feel the instant chill! The aluminum block dissipates heat, and the physical cooling on your neck suppresses body temperature rise, freeing you from the worries of extreme heat! Indoor and outdoor cooling performance is greatly improved, delivering a refreshing sensation that will make your skin tingle. [Enjoy All-Day Coolness - 30000mAh Large Capacity Battery Pack] Evolved to Type-C power supply due to its lightweight design. Operates when connected to an adapter or mobile battery with specifications of 5V 2.2A or higher. Strong mode: Cools up to -17°C below ambient temperature, operating time approx. 3 hours. Weak mode: Cools up to -13°C below ambient temperature, operating time approx. 4 hours. (Operating times were measured using a 10000mAh mobile battery.) Lightweight & compact for easy storage, and foldable for portability, making it convenient to carry in a bag. This item is useful in all situations such as working in the blazing sun, commuting, school, outdoor activities, exercise, walking, mountain climbing, BBQs, fireworks festivals, etc. Click here for the manufacturer's site
