She was already famous in Paris as the most sought-after therapist at the time, and I knew her name. For me, it's not just the products, but also the founder's thoughts and philosophy that are important. SHIGETA believes that mind-body balance is essential for beautiful skin and a healthy body, and promotes self-care methods to help individuals achieve their innate beauty and bodily harmony. The four pillars of SHIGETA are the power of plants, self-care, daily diet, and conscious breathing. While this field is still unfamiliar in Japan, I feel it incorporates elements of phytotherapy. Product development began from the desire to help customers avoid needing salon treatments, based on interactions with many clients. I love the idea of encouraging people to practice self-care at home, rather than coming to the salon, and integrating care as a part of daily life to nurture oneself, rather than as something special. In Europe, essential oil care, alternative medicine, and homeopathy are commonplace, but at the time in Japan, even the words organic and essential oil were not widely recognized. SHIGETA's product concept is surprising organic, and they develop products that embody their wisdom. What was particularly groundbreaking was the creation of essential oils that could be applied to the skin, and the launch of floral waters, which are similar to what is now known as fasting. I feel she was a pioneer in introducing her overseas experience and personal vision to Japan. This is a nail oil with a gentle lemon scent. Since hands are said to reveal one's age, it's important to care for them diligently. Proper care leads to the growth of healthy, glossy nails.
