This is a rhinoceros beetle larval substrate. I had been raising them every year for about 5 years, but this year they went extinct, possibly due to inbreeding. I purchased this for the larvae around October of last year, but since I no longer have a use for it, I would like to pass it on to someone else. How about it for a summer vacation science project for elementary school students this year? As you can see in the photos, the larvae grew large! ? *This is a photo of larvae from 4 years ago. I have one 5L bag and two 10L bags. One of the 10L bags has tape on it to prevent soil from spilling, as it seems to have been snagged on something, as you can see in the upper photo.
