Sweat and stain protection cover for Wakesa (Buddhist stole). *Cover only, Wakesa not included. Not only for sweat in the summer, but also for warmth in the winter, so it can be used regardless of the season! Wakesa are often made of pure silk or woven fabric. When wearing a Wakesa over a collarless shirt like a T-shirt or sweatshirt, sweat stains and dirt are a concern. For woven fabrics, the texture can be scratchy against the neck, which I always found bothersome. I used to wrap a hand towel around it, but it looked a bit awkward (lol). The commercially available covers were only made of vinyl, so I made this one by hand. Japan's first! Washable Wakesa cover. As of January 2026, no mass-produced products are available. ★The design (though not elaborate) is original. ★Thin towel fabric ★100% Cotton ★Washable ★For Wakesa with a width of 5cm ★Width when unfolded: 14-15cm ★Length: 38-39cm ★Reversible ★Easy to attach and detach with plastic snaps ★Snaps can be fastened to be hidden or visible ★Color: White The fabric of this cover is thin. When detaching the snaps, please handle with care due to potential stretching or distortion of the fabric. [Please understand] ◆Towel fabric may shrink or stretch slightly, so the size indications have some leeway. ◆The fabric is used as is from when it was purchased. To accommodate different scent preferences, the fabric has not been pre-washed. ◆While threads of a similar color are used, the stitching may be visible. Please allow for slight irregularities or distortions. ◆The color of the snaps may change. ◆Although made with care, this is a handmade item by an amateur. Those seeking professional-level sewing, store-quality products, or packaging should refrain from purchasing. ◆Please refrain from price negotiations due to material costs. ★Non-smoking, no pets. ★Likes, comments, and immediate purchases are welcome. We cannot accommodate requests for dedicated pages. Even during comment exchanges, the item will be sold to the first person who completes the purchase. ★The item will be folded into thirds, placed in a plastic bag, and shipped via Yu-Packet Post Mini. Please note that this shipping method may involve land or sea transport, which can take several days for delivery. If you have an upcoming pilgrimage or similar plans, please be aware of this. ★Returns and refunds will only be accepted for initial defects (sewing flaws, tears, broken snaps). #Wakesa #PilgrimageSupplies #WakesaCover #Ohenro (Pilgrimage) Click here for the manufacturer's site
