| Product details |
This is Echizen Washi paper with deckled edges, made using the Rakkashi technique. It's typically used for printing on things like sake labels, but this is the leftover material, not the top sheet. With its deckled edges, if you tear it along the thin lines, you'll get a fluffy texture, allowing you to use it as charming small pieces of Japanese paper. The slightly glossy, bumpy pattern you see is characteristic of Rakkashi, a technique where fine holes are created by showering water from above, forming patterns in the fibers. For those interested in Japanese paper, you can get quite a few pieces by tearing them. Please enjoy them for various purposes. 30 sheets, 1 sheet x 4 pieces = 120 pieces total Sheet size: 12cm x 9cm Please let us know if you would like a smaller quantity. The item will be shipped folded in half. While I may not know all the details, please feel free to comment if you have any questions. #EchizenWashi #Rakkashi #JapanesePaper #DeckledEdge #Label # Click here for the manufacturer's site
