This is a single-board table where a lumberjack who faces the mountains has carefully brought out the unique character of a cedar tree that has aged over many years. It features the warm texture unique to cedar and the flowing, beautiful grain created by nature. Though small, it has a solid presence and is a one-of-a-kind piece that will add natural warmth to your life. This product is made through traditional Japanese underwater drying. After felling, the wood is submerged in water to remove sap and excess components, and then air-dried for approximately 5 years. By drying slowly and carefully over time, we aim to enhance the natural beauty of the cedar and create a state that is resistant to warping and cracking. The finish is two coats of Watco oil, followed by a final coat of natural beeswax. You can feel the smooth texture, the soft warmth unique to cedar, and the calm feel that only natural materials can provide. It can be used for various purposes, such as a side table next to your sofa, a small table in a Japanese-style room, a stand to display houseplants, or a platform for pets. The legs are detachable. The legs will be detached for packaging during shipping.
