New Improved Version With improved size and bending angle, top speed has slightly increased compared to previous stabilizers, though this may vary depending on wind and current conditions. When the throttle is fully open, please adjust the tilt so that the outboard motor is tilted approximately 2-3° backward from vertical to the water surface. Stabilizer for Honda 2 HP Outboard Motors, Compatible with BF2D & BF2DH, No Drilling Required, 2.0mm Type Increased strength makes it less likely to bend even if the stabilizer comes into contact with something. Compatible with Old Type (BZBF) and Current Type (BAAC) If the stabilizer is too large, it creates resistance and causes deceleration; if it's too small, its effect is diminished. This stabilizer has been tested repeatedly and manufactured with optimal size. [Effects of the Stabilizer] Planing is a state of navigation where a much larger lift force than buoyancy acts to support the object. The hull is lifted by the lift force acting on the bottom of the boat, and when planing, the bow lowers, characterized by smooth running across the water at a trim angle (longitudinal tilt) of 3° to 5° relative to the water. Therefore, lift is constantly generated on the underside of the stabilizer at a 3° to 5° trim angle. This lifts the outboard motor and brings it into a planing state more quickly. This product is designed with unique bending processing to ensure water flow and prevent the planing effect from decreasing. Please experience the effects of this stabilizer for yourself. Material: SUS304 (Stainless Steel), 2B finish, 2.0mm thickness Laser cut and bent Resistant to saltwater (rust) and excellent strength due to bending processing. Protects the propeller even when the outboard motor is placed horizontally. Significantly reduces water splash from the propeller onto the lower part of the outboard motor. (Reduces seawater spray onto the engine.) No modification (drilling) to the outboard motor is required. (The left side is attached by sandwiching the anode metal together with the stabilizer, and the right side is attached by sandwiching the main body with the included plate. *See image) Plate and mounting bolts are included (stainless steel).
