This is a dedicated purchase listing for a pair of products. Bids from other individuals will be cancelled. Features The Tannoy PBM utilizes an independent 2-way system that separates the woofer and tweeter. The PBM8 features an 8-inch woofer. It possesses ample low-frequency reproduction capabilities and is well-suited for mid-sized professional studios. • Sound: Leans towards flat with clear mid-range. While not flashy, it's easy to judge (sound resolution). • Use: For mixing/editing (more of a work tool than for casual listening). In other words, it strongly functions as a tool for the recording studio. • Excellent Imaging: Although not coaxial, the unit placement is exquisite, and it's renowned for making it easy to grasp the stereo image. • Bright and Tight Sound: There's a slight peak in the mid-high frequencies, allowing vocals and instruments to be heard with clear outlines. • Crisp Bass: It's not the type to produce booming heavy bass, but rather the tight bass necessary for mixing. • Amplifier Choice: As it's a passive type, an external amplifier is required. However, due to its good efficiency (around 90dB), it can be driven well even with a moderately powered amplifier. Click here for the manufacturer's site
