Over 600 sold annually! We tested numerous sizes, colors, and weights to ensure reliable catches in a short time. Tested on heavily pressured stocked ponds and weekend trips to urban streams. Uses Japanese-made fly hook #10, barbless. The hook penetrates well and is sized to prevent fish from swallowing it. It even held up against a 70cm+ rainbow trout in the Ayusawa River without bending. Designed to imitate delicate insects, it features a slender body with long hackle. Weighs 1.3 grams when wet. Capable of long casts with area tackle and 2lb line. Includes a simple instruction manual. From the front of the image: ・Black (Red Brown Hackle) → Our #1 bestseller. All-purpose. Effective in any situation. Particularly potent in murky waters. This color is highly effective in murky, high-pressure fishing spots. Recommended for children and beginners. ・Brown (Red Brown Hackle) → Our #2 bestseller. Natural. A preferred color for large trout. Effective in clear water and high-pressure areas. Recommended for beginners and those who want consistent catches. Resists spooking fish and provides stable results in clear conditions. You can fish with this color all day. This color is frequently ordered from the Kansai and North Kanto regions. ・Olive (Grizzly Hackle) → A fundamental color. Also effective for sight fishing for bass and carp. A basic color that trout are less likely to spook from. Becomes the ultimate color for bass and carp during the trout off-season. ・Mocha (Brown Hackle) → A balance between natural and attractive. Ideal for slightly murky waters! A well-tested and effective color for areas like Akigawa Lake, Higashiyama Lake, and Katsuragawa LF, where the bottom is just visible in shallow areas and the area is generally crowded and fish are pressured. In murky conditions with visible rises, retrieve extremely slowly near the surface. ・Dark Brown (Brown Hackle) → A consistently effective color. Also works well as a first-cast pilot lure. Effective in both pond and stream environments. Each lure is carefully crafted and packaged to prevent hackle deformation during shipping. Thank you for your interest.
