Hello there. This time, I have some external hard drives that were junk items from my home. These are two external hard drives, one 1.5TB and one 2TB, both made by Buffalo. I was using them for recording with my DVR, but they started making clicking and beeping noises. I tried disassembling the first one, but I only managed to remove the outer casing and gave up. I gave up on the second one as well. Both of them suddenly stopped being recognized by the DVR. HDDs can fail without warning, which is scary. The data inside is still there, but it's a shame I can't access it anymore. Since it's mostly recordings from TV, mainly anime, I decided it wasn't worth spending tens of thousands of yen on data recovery, so I stopped. Both are junk items, so please use them for parts. One of them has Velcro attached, though I don't remember why I put it there. Please note that AC adapters and USB cables are not included. Also, I will use newspaper or other paper cushioning material to prevent them from moving around, but I will basically ship them as-is without bubble wrap, so thank you for your understanding.
