Delightful handcrafted solid wood slat crate basket featuring dual cat-shaped side panels. One side showcases a beautifully hand-painted primitive kitty face sporting a brilliant blue collar and bow accent, detailed with tiny red floral accents across the body. Features a strong, bentwood center carry handle. Bottom is fully stamped with the original manufacturer's mark. Perfect as a countertop mail organizer, napkin holder, planter base, or rustic holiday display piece. Approximate Dimensions: Length: 7.5 Width: 7.25 Height: 10 (including handle) Brand / Maker: Sawmill Critters by The Sawmill Furniture Co. (Selmer, Tennessee) Era: Vintage (Circa 1980s / 1990s) Style: Folk Art, Rustic Americana, Primitive, Farmhouse, Cottagecore Condition: Good, sturdy vintage condition with beautiful natural aging. The original maker stamp on the bottom slats is completely legible. Please note there is a clean, natural hairline age split on the inner wood grain of the main painted cat's left ear (visible in close-up photos), which is incredibly common for these soft-wood vintage pieces and does not compromise the structure.
