This is a used, early-spec cabinet that was previously manufactured. It is covered in scratches from use. I build amplifier and speaker cabinets in my spare time from my main work as a furniture maker. I selected SPF lumber with few knots for commercial use. It has been modified with the addition of a plastic mesh grille, corner protectors, and casters. Speaker: 12-inch specification Body: SPF lumber (19mm thick) Back panel: SPF lumber (19mm thick) Plastic mesh grille Baffle board: MDF (12mm thick) Speaker mounting screws: (4-point mounting, 5x20 truss head small screws included) Speaker mounting hole pitch: (296mm) Wiring: Switchcraft #11 mono phone jack, insulated washer with shoulder, plastic insulated washer, jack plate, BELDEN 9497, Faston terminals, Kester 44 solder used Handle: Genuine Marshall With casters With corner protectors Paint: Oil stain (walnut color), urethane sanding sealer base coat, urethane flat finish top coat Dimensions: W500 (W510 including corner protectors) x D260 (D262 including corner protectors) x H400 (H438 including corner protectors and casters, excluding handle) Weight: 6.95kg It has been meticulously crafted, resulting in a solid construction that also affects its sound. I hope you will enjoy using this cabinet as a base, experimenting with different speakers and wiring, and searching for your preferred tone. The wood grain is continuous as it was assembled from a single board. The older growth rings are on the outside of the cabinet, just as they were when the tree was growing. The main body is joined using half-blind dovetail joints. Please judge the extent of the scratches from the photos. Please note that no speaker is included.
