This is a masterpiece Hajirai (Shyness) by Kenichi Murakami, a master craftsman from the Yamagata/Sakunami style. While this work typically comes in larger sizes of 20-30cm, this is an extremely rare, very small size with a total length of approximately 11cm (just over 3.5 sun). Smaller sizes are difficult to work with and require more effort, so they are not produced in large quantities. Even at this small size, it is a wonderful piece with the delicate facial expressions beautifully crafted. The delicate and smooth curves, no less impressive than those of larger pieces, are condensed into this work, with a particularly beautiful rendering of the nape of the neck. Its adorable size, fitting comfortably in the palm of your hand, blends easily with modern interiors and desk spaces, exuding a special presence among collections. [Product Condition] * Base: The artist's seal, proving it is an authentic work by the artist, remains clearly visible. * Wood Grain: While there is a natural patina due to age, the beauty of the pale wood is preserved, with no noticeable stains or dirt. * Special Notes: Near the base of the back of the neck, there is a very slight scuff mark, possibly from the time of creation or due to age (please refer to photo X). It is barely noticeable, but please purchase only if you understand the characteristics of antique items. Please examine the product condition by zooming in on the photos. This rare 11cm size Hajirai is an extremely valuable item that rarely becomes available. Collectors who have been searching for it are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
