This is a TRIAL Bite Distortion. It is being sold as-is because the LED does not turn on when engaged, and the volume knob has been replaced. The sound itself has been tested and works without issue. Returns are possible for issues such as no sound, but we may refuse returns for reasons such as the LED not turning on or the knob being different, as these have been noted. Thank you for your understanding and purchase. Deep, biting, high-gain stack amp distortion. The Bite Distortion is the ultimate high-gain distortion effect. Many distortion effects tend to cut the low end to achieve a sharp, flashy sound, resulting in a thin tone lacking bass. Models that compensate by boosting the low end often become too fat, losing the crisp bite and fast response, leading to saturated sound. The high-gain sound from a stack amp is not like that. It is deep, biting, fat, with excellent high-end extension, retaining chord clarity. It is sensitive to picking dynamics and pickup tone, and maintains its tonal appeal even when rolled back to a clean sound. Furthermore, good amps are low noise.
