Beautiful matched pair of antique green uranium-glass taper candleholders dating to approximately the 1930s. Each candlestick features a broad octagonal base decorated with wheel-cut flowers and graceful sweeping leaves. Applied gold borders divide the base into geometric panels and continue around the candle cup, creating a lovely Art Deco presentation. The green glass produces a brilliant, uniform neon-green fluorescence under a 395 nm ultraviolet flashlight, confirming its uranium-glass composition. • Matched pair of two candlestick holders • Circa 1930s • Green uranium Depression glass • Strong UV-reactive glow under 395 nm light • Octagonal geometric bases • Wheel-cut floral and leaf decoration • Applied gold borders and rim accents • Approximately 5” across each base • Approximately 3.25” tall • Designed for standard taper candles • Unmarked maker Excellent antique glass condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites or repairs. The only noted condition issue is age-related rubbing and loss to the applied gold decoration, particularly around the outer edges and panel divisions. Please review the close-up photographs for the extent of the gold wear. A striking matched set for an uranium-glass collection, Art Deco display, vintage tablescape or candlelit centerpiece. Hand washing is recommended. #UraniumGlass #UraniumGlassCandlesticks #VaselineGlass #DepressionGlass #GreenGlass #UVReactiveGlass #GlowingGlass #VintageCandlesticks #CandleHolders #EtchedGlass #WheelCutGl
