This is the metal fitting that attaches to the strap for Schaller-style strap lock pins. It is designed to be used as a set with the dedicated pin that is screwed into the guitar body, and has the following features and functions: Main Uses and Features Fall Prevention: Locks the strap to prevent it from coming off the guitar, even during intense performances or long playing sessions. One-Touch Attachment/Detachment: The strap can be easily removed by pulling up the round knob (pull pin) at the top with your finger. Structure: U-shaped part: The pin on the guitar body side slides into this part. Washer and Nut: The hole in the strap is sandwiched by this fitting and secured with the nut. How to Use and Precautions Pass this fitting through the hole in your guitar strap, place the included flat washer against it, and then tighten firmly with the nut. A dedicated lock pin (end pin) compatible with this fitting must also be installed on the guitar body. If the pin on the guitar side is a standard one (umbrella-shaped), it cannot be used as is and will need to be replaced with the dedicated pin included in the set. This is an essential and convenient item for guitarists who move around on stage. If you have this, it will help protect your valuable instrument from accidental drops.
