| Product details |
This is a rare-shaped incense container passed down from the previous generation. It is a picture Shino ware, Shino-yaki. The back of the incense container, associated with Edo Senke's Joshinsai, Koko, and Omotesenke, bears the Omotesenke's kao (seal/signature). There is also an inscription on the underside of the box lid. I cannot provide further details as I inherited this item and only know what I was told. However, there was a handwritten memo in the box, as shown in photo 13. ❈ The string on the box is close to breaking due to age and deterioration (photo 15). This is an old incense container, so please refer to the photos for everything! Please examine the photos carefully to confirm and make your decision. We kindly ask for purchases only from those who understand this. Incense container size (approximate) Height: 3.5 cm, Diameter: 6 cm ❈ Immediate purchase is welcome.
