An elegant set of dishes featuring a beautiful black lacquer with delicate maki-e (sprinkled gold powder) of floral motifs (resembling bamboo grass and rice stalks). The set includes one large central plate and five small plates. There is a signature mark (red seal), and research suggests the design is related to the Japanese painter Takeuchi Seiho. (Please note: This is not guaranteed to be an authentic work, so please consider it as a piece of craftsmanship.) The gold accents stand out against the glossy black surface, making it a visually stunning item for serving Japanese sweets, as side dishes, or for guests. Recommended for New Year's celebrations and entertaining occasions. ■ Size ・ Large plate: Approx. 24 cm ・ Small plate: Approx. 13 cm ■ Condition Unused item, stored for a long time. No noticeable chips are observed, but please understand there may be minor scuffs. The original box shows signs of age-related deterioration (please refer to the photos). Recommended as a collectible, for practical use, or as interior decor. Set of lacquer plates with elegant gold maki-e design. Includes 1 large plate (24cm) and 5 small plates (13cm). Features a signature mark believed to be related to Takeuchi Seiho style (not guaranteed original). Beautiful glossy black finish, perfect for serving or display.
