Lacquerware Bento Box Set, 3 Pieces, 10 Nested Boxes, Gold Decoration, Wooden Box Included, Antique Collection, Vintage, Repaired This item has been stored at home for a long time. I am selling it as part of decluttering as I have no opportunity to use it. [Vintage/Antique] Wooden Bento Box Set, Three Tiers, with Gold Maki-e and Outer Box Thank you for looking. This is a very old set of wooden, lacquered nested bento boxes that was found during a clean-out of a storehouse. It is an elegant piece with a graceful design of autumn grasses drawn in gold maki-e, exuding a refined atmosphere. The inside is a vibrant vermilion lacquer, which will beautifully adorn your New Year's osechi dishes and celebratory occasions. It has a warmth and substantial feel that only natural wood and genuine lacquer can provide, unlike modern resin (plastic) items. [Set Contents] Bento Box (Three Tiers) Nested Bento Boxes (Five Tiers) x 2 Lids (multiple) Original Wooden Box (Outer Box) [Dimensions] Nested Box Size: 16.2cm (Length) x 11.5cm (Width) x 4cm (Height) x 5 Tiers Nested Box Size: 23.5cm (Length) x 16cm (Width) x 6.7cm (Height) x 3 Tiers [Condition] As this is a very old item, there are scuffs and small scratches due to age, peeling lacquer, dirt, etc. Some parts of the nails in the outer wooden box are loose (see image 8). Some of the bento box lids show warping. We hope this will appeal to those who appreciate the character of antique items and those who love vintage collectibles! [Shipping] The item will be shipped in its original wooden box, carefully packed with cushioning material. Thank you for your consideration.
