An authentic early Hamilton Art Deco mechanical watch with the movement and gold-filled Wadsworth case exposed and photographed — no guessing about what you're buying. Dating to the 1920s era, this striking Hamilton features the unmistakable elongated tonneau/tank-style Art Deco case, oversized outlined Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock and beautiful period geometric detailing. Inside is the real prize: Hamilton Watch Co. Grade 986 mechanical movement — 17 jewels, manual wind and American made. It is being sold as a running vintage mechanical watch rather than as a freshly serviced timepiece. The watch shows genuine age-related wear including scratches, surface wear, patina and areas of gold-filled finish wear. The crystal shows scratches/wear. Please examine the detailed photographs closely; they form an important part of the condition description. The dial has tremendous vintage character, with bold outlined Arabic numerals, original-style Art Deco geometry a
