Hitachi Refrigerator R-HW52J (XN) Water Tank 2018 Model This is the water tank for the Hitachi Refrigerator R-HW52J (XN) purchased in the fall of 2018. There are some water droplet marks, but I believe it is relatively clean. There are slight scratches from the hard part of a sponge during cleaning. Also, the white plastic has some slight discoloration due to age. It is designed to automatically make ice when water is added, but I am personally concerned about hygiene because I cannot maintain the hose (?) installed in the inaccessible part of the process from the tank to the ice compartment. Therefore, I did not use this type of water tank even with my previous refrigerator (I used a commercially available simple ice maker). When I got this new refrigerator, I used this water tank initially, but stopped using it after about 2 months and have kept it stored in a cupboard since then. The filter has been used and discarded. Filters can be purchased online, so please purchase one separately. The names of the individual parts are not certain, so please check the photos. Everything shown in the photos is included.
