This is a pair of U.S.M.C. (United States Marine Corps) DANNER RAT Boots 8 MOJAVE GORE-TEX. Official Designation: BOOTS, COLD WEATHER These are the 8 RAT boots adopted by the U.S.M.C. DANNER is a highly sought-after and valuable brand in the market. The lining uses GORE-TEX®, which is completely waterproof and highly breathable, ensuring comfort even in harsh environments. The upper is a combination of nubuck leather and 1000-denier nylon, offering excellent durability and breathability. These are the ultimate boots packed with military-grade features, including a speed lacing system that allows for quick tightening by simply pulling the laces upwards, and a Vibram® 360 Dri-Ice outsole that provides excellent durability, mobility, and stability even in cold climates. The stitch-down construction by Danner craftsmen creates a robust and stable structure. They offer a flexible and comfortable fit, and are equipped with a fiberglass shank between the sole and insole around the arch for excellent shock absorption. These boots are perfect not only for outdoor activities but also for town use, pairing well with denim or chinos. Materials: Upper: Nubuck Leather / 1000-Denier Nylon Lining: GORE-TEX® Midsole: Polyurethane Footbed Outsole: Vibram® 360 Dri-Ice Size notation is 8W. This corresponds to a wide width of 26cm (equivalent to EE in current Danner sizing). I have never seen this size before. This is an extremely rare item.
